guardian Malaysia hosted Get.Set.Glow. an invite-only holistic retreat that connects the retail chain’s curation of a hundred of its best wellbeing brands with invited guests consisting of influencers to help them nurture their health and wellness.

Priscilla Wu, Managing Director of guardian Malaysia, remarked that Get.Set.Glow. is an event that is designed and guided by the vision of ‘nurturing my wellbeing’. It is a holistic approach that we all should embrace, which centers on prioritizing my health, happiness, and fulfillment so that I can be the best version of myself to my family, friends, colleagues and everyone else around me,” explained Priscilla.

Guests learnt about guardian’s 100 curated, top well-being brands as well as tips from selected wellbeing experts

Get.Set.Glow. is about humanity’s belief for growth; of wanting to learn about what’s out there to become holistically well and pick-up new ‘skills and know-how’ to help the self be healthy.

“This holistic retreat connects our top curated wellbeing brands with invited influencers and enables the former to showcase their latest range of products across four wellness areas that guardian Malaysia is focusing on, to the influencers,” Priscilla said.

The four essential wellness areas are:

• Lifestyle and Wellbeing
• Inner Beauty
• Health Maintenance
• Self Care Essentials

The wellbeing brands at the retreat had their team of consultants and representatives present to engage the influencers about their latest offerings. Five of the brand partners (Anlene, Blackmores, Benourish, Nugevity and VitaHealth) even offer to screen the event’s guests for specific health concerns i.e. bone health, eye health, etc as part of a 60-day wellbeing challenge.

Besides learning about nutritional and supplemental food offerings for wellbeing, the invited influencers also get to learn the ‘secrets’ of holistic wellbeing from the diverse background of speakers and coaches present on the 19th of July.

“We have a good selection of speakers from medical doctors to nutritionists, pharmacist, fitness guru, yoga teacher, sleep consultant, aromatherapist and holistic wellness practitioners so that guests learn new skills for inner strength and outer wellness and be holistically well,” added Priscilla.

Invited influencers share their learnings about holistic wellbeing with their fans and followers via postings on social media platforms.

“This is an excellent way for the influencers’ fans and followers to also Get.Set.Glow. as they get a peek into what goes on at the event. Further consultations about their own specific wellbeing can be done with pharmacists at any guardian Malaysia’s store nationwide,” explained Priscilla.

This Get.Set.Glow. retreat serves as the kick-off for guardian Malaysia’s 3-month wellbeing roadshow that will take place in Mid Valley Exhibition Centre and One Utama from mid-August 2024. Curated wellness brands and other related services will be accessible to the members of the public at these three roadshows.
